Galeria Pelaires is returning to ARCOlisboa with a selection of works by Inês Zenha, Alain Urrutia, Jorinde Voigt, Diego Delas and Oliver Osborne. This is the fifth time that the Majorcan gallery is participating in this fair, which is set to take place in Lisbon from 23 to 26 May. The event is expected to welcome a total of 84 participating galleries from 15 different countries (59 in the General Programme, 17 in the Opening section and 8 in the curated section As formas do Oceano).
The Pelaires space (booth J05) will feature a selection of works by artists represented by the gallery: two oil paintings on linen from the Rubber Plants series by Oliver Osborne (Edinburgh, 1985); three works on paper from The Sum series —one of them large-sized— by Jorinde Voigt (Frankfurt, Germany, 1977); three new small oil paintings on linen by Alain Urrutia (Bilbao, 1981); four ceramic pieces —including one wall-hanging— and two new oil paintings by Inês Zenha (Lisbon, 1995); and two panting installations by Diego Delas (Aranda de Duero, 1983).
So far this year, Galeria Pelaires has participated in ARCO, becoming one of the few galleries that has taken part every year since the fair was established in 1982— and also in Art Dusseldorf for the first time last April.
