Es Baluard, Mallorca
From July 4,2025 to January 4, 2026
Alain Urrutia's work, Incomodidad y otros tiempos (Incomfort and Other Times), (2010), currently on loan at Es Baluard by Colección de Pintura Contemporánea Internacional de la Fundación Barrié, is part of the collective exhibition Nachleben. Every image is possible paintings, alongside artists Ignasi Aballí, Marina Abramovi?, José Manuel Broto, Jean-Marc Bustamante, Toni Catany, Carlos Correia, Gil Heitor Cortesão, Pierre Gonnord, Susy Gómez, Miki Leal, Rita Magalhães, Tracey Moffatt, Perejaume, Tomás Pizá, Andrei Roiter, Simeón Saiz Ruiz, Alain Urrutia, Darío Villalba and Peter Zimmermann.
This exhibition is part of a trilogy organized by Es Baluard Museu d'Art Contemporani de Palma, aiming to deepen the understanding of contemporary art. The selection includes works from the museum's collection and pieces on loan from private collections, offering an insight into the conceptual and material richness of painting in its most hybrid and flexible state.
